摘要： A vacuum tube comprising an envelope and at least one electrode within that envelope, wherein the envelope includes two portions joined together along a seam and the required electrical connection is made to the electrode from outside the envelope by means of at least one conductor which passes through the seam. Preferably, the conductor serves to locate and support the electrode in the tube.
