Abstract: A fuze for preventing warhead initiation in an air launched guided missile until a safe separation distance has been achieved between the missile and launching aircraft. To achieve this separation distance a spring loaded air scoop is allowed to popup into the missile air stream to provide dynamic air pressure to a bellows actuated escapement mechanism which controls the amount of delay.
