A stretchable sheet includes a first sheet, a second sheet joined to the first sheet by welded portions, and an elastic member that is disposed between the first sheet and the second sheet and stretches and contracts in a continuous direction in which the elastic member extends. The welded portions are disposed on both sides of the elastic member in an intersecting direction intersecting with the continuous direction. Welded portion pairs are disposed in which the elastic member is sandwiched and restrict a position of the elastic member in the intersecting direction with respect to the first sheet and the second sheet. The elastic member has a damaged portion where a part of a surface of the elastic member is damaged. The welded portion pairs include a first welded portion pair and a second welded portion pair.

An absorbent article includes: an absorbent main body including an absorbent core; and leak-proof walls on respective widthwise side portions of the absorbent main body. Each leak-proof wall is capable of standing on a skin side in the thickness direction, and includes a skin-side portion and a non-skin-side portion. A joined part is formed by joining at least partially facing surfaces of the skin-side and non-skin-side portions. The absorbent main body includes a crotch stretchable portion in a central portion in the width direction and the longitudinal direction, and the crotch stretchable portion stretches/contracts in at least one of the longitudinal direction and the width direction. The joined part is provided inside a distal end of the leak-proof wall and outside the crotch stretchable portion in the width direction. A part of the joined part and a part of the crotch stretchable portion at least overlap in the longitudinal direction.

Provided is a disposable urine-absorption pad with which production costs are reduced, and with which a function for inhibiting the occurrence or aggravation of bedsores is imparted by facilitating relative movement of a skin-contact sheet in a back-and-forth direction with respect to a pad main body. This urine-absorption pad includes: an outer surface sheet; an absorption body; an inner surface sheet; a left side sheet; a right side sheet; an overlap sheet; and a low friction member. The overlap sheet is provided to a gluteal region. A right side edge of the overlap sheet is joined to a left side part of the right side sheet. A left side edge of the overlap sheet is joined to a right side part of the left side sheet. The low friction member is provided between the overlap sheet and the inner surface sheet.

The absorbent main body has a pair of leak-proof walls in respective side end portions. Each of the leak-proof walls has a skin-side portion that includes a plurality of elastic members and a non-skin-side portion. The pair of leak-proof walls each have a joining portion in which mutually opposing surfaces of the skin-side portion and the non-skin-side portion are joined, and a non-joining portion above the joining portion. The mutually opposing surfaces are not joined in the non-joining portion. The joining portions are inward, with respect to the width direction, of leading ends of the leak-proof walls. Each of the joining portions is overlapped with the stomach-side member or the back-side member in an up-down direction.
