摘要: Disclosed is a system and method for determining the runway configuration of an airport. The method may include retrieving recorded surveillance data including instances of aircraft positions at an airport; determining a plurality of three-dimensional surveillance cells at each end of one or more runways of the airport; computing a count of the number of aircraft positions within each surveillance cell; and determining a current configuration for each runway based on the count computed for the surveillance cells of the runway. The predicted runway configuration of the airport can be used for updating the flight plan of an aircraft to reduce the total flight duration and minimize fuel consumption.

摘要: System and method to protect the privacy of ADS-B messages transmitted by aircraft. The system includes one or more ground stations with a ground station control unit and a ground ADS-B transponder for receiving an ADS-B message. The ground station control unit includes an aircraft position determination module for retrieving an aircraft position included in the ADS-B message; an operating conditions module for determining the fulfillment of operating conditions including determining if the aircraft position is an actual aircraft position; and a fake aircraft position generator for computing one or more fake aircraft positions. The ground station control unit broadcasts one or more fake ADS-B messages including the fake aircraft positions if the operating conditions are met. With this system only trusted receivers can obtain the real position of the aircraft.

摘要: A method for policy-based traffic encounter assessment to detect and avoid traffic includes determining, by a processor, an ownship predicted trajectory of an aircraft. The aircraft is the ownship. The method also includes determining a traffic predicted trajectory of one or more other aircraft in the vicinity of the ownship. The one or more other aircraft includes traffic. The method also includes assessing an encounter between the ownship and the traffic, wherein assessing the encounter between the ownship and the traffic includes applying an encounter assessment policy to the traffic predicted trajectory and the ownship predicted trajectory. The method further includes generating encounter assessment data in response to assessing the encounter between the ownship and the traffic. The encounter assessment data is used to at least detect and avoid the traffic by the ownship.

摘要: A system and a computer-implemented method for evaluating uncertainty of a predicted trajectory infrastructure is disclosed The method comprises collecting a plurality of data sets from a predicted trajectory: comprising providing an aircraft intent description based on the predicted trajectory; selecting both a point in time and one or more variables among the collected plurality of data sets as sources of uncertainty; representing each selected variable at the selected point in time as a uni-variable polynomial expansion; representing each non-selected variable by a single point; and combining selected and non-selected variables into a multi-variable polynomial chaos expansion representing a stochastic prediction of the aircraft's trajectory at the selected point in time and a measurement of a sensitivity of the prediction to each of the selected one or more sources of uncertainty.

摘要: A computer-implemented method and a system for providing passenger information performing the tasks of sending, from a passenger electronic device (110), personal data, device geolocation and device time-stamp information; obtaining the passenger itinerary and confirming passenger identity, by a managing unit (206), based upon a match between the personal data, passenger electronic device geolocation and time-stamp; information contained in the obtained passenger itinerary; accessing to updated air traffic information relevant to the passenger upon confirming the passenger identity and sending, by the managing unit (206), a passenger report comprising flight status information for display on the passenger electronic device (110).

摘要: And aircraft recharging station is provided for recharging an aircraft provided with a rechargeable battery. The recharging station includes a parking surface with conductive tiles selectively connected to an electrical power supply. The recharging station also includes a controller configured to determine a position of the aircraft on the parking surface by connecting, including being configured to iteratively connect a different pair of tiles to the electrical power supply to provide a circuit including positive and negative tiles connected thereto, and test an electrical circuit condition of the circuit, until a closed circuit condition is determined, thereby indicating that the aircraft is positioned on the positive and negative tiles, and that the battery is thereby rechargeable by the electrical power supply.

摘要: A system and method is provided for commanding a payload of an aircraft. A plurality of flight segments, which comprise trajectory information of the aircraft, are received. A plurality of payload commands are generated using statements of payload intents. Each one of the payload commands are synchronized with at least one of the plurality of flight segments. The system and method express the operations to be performed by the payload onboard in order to achieve the established mission goals of the aircraft.

摘要: A parking management system is described that includes a light detector, a reflector positioned within a parking space and aligned to direct received light to the light detector, and a processor receiving a signal from the light detector that indicates an amount of light detected by the light detector. The processor causes a parking space indicator to indicate that the parking space is unoccupied based on the amount of light detected by the light detector being greater than a threshold, and causes the parking space indicator to indicate that the parking space is occupied based on the amount of light detected by the light detector being less than the threshold.
