摘要: According to some embodiments, a method is performed by a wireless device operating in both a first network and a second network (e.g., the wireless device is in an idle/inactive state in the second network). The method comprises determining a pattern for performing procedures (e.g., a set of idle/inactive mode procedures) in the second network, and upon transition of the wireless device from an inactive/idle state to a connected state in the first network, transmitting an indication of the determined pattern to the first network.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method performed by a network node for cell selection to access a network slice on a different frequency than a wireless device, WD, is currently served by is provided. The method includes receiving a service request from the WD, the WD being connected to a first cell, the first cell servicing a first network slice which operates in a first frequency, the requested service to be performed over a second network slice which operates in a second frequency; obtaining policy information relating to the first and the second network slices; determining which one of the first cell and a second cell to perform the requested service based at least in part on the obtained policy information; and providing a session for the WD to receive the requested service over the determined one of the first cell and the second cell.

摘要: Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a distributed unit of a network node, for establishing a connection between the distributed unit and a central unit connected to a core part of the wireless network. The network node includes the central unit and at least the distributed unit. The distributed unit performs a Domain Name Server lookup for a proxy central unit, which will act as a temporary or initial central unit with regard to a configuration transfer procedure. The distributed unit further receives an ip address of the proxy central unit and initiates the configuration transfer procedure by sending a configuration transfer message to the ip address of the proxy central unit. The distributed unit further receives an ip address of the central unit and establishes a connection between the distributed unit and the central unit using the received ip address of the central unit.

摘要: A method performed by a serving Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) serving a wireless communication device. 摘要: A wireless device, a network node, a core node and methods therein, for managing reachability of the wireless device. The wireless device starts an AS (Access Stratum) reachable timer when entering an inactive state. If the AS reachable timer expires while still in the inactive state, the wireless device sends to the network node a reachable notification indicating that the wireless device is reachable. If entering a connected state before the AS reachable timer expires, the wireless device stops the AS reachable timer when changing from the inactive state to a connected state. If the core node receives from the network node a not reachable notification indicating that the wireless device is not reachable, the wireless device can be marked as not reachable via paging.
