A fixing device is provided for a headrest that fixes the headrest at a predetermined position in an unadjustable manner, even after a guide lock is attached or even after a seatback is formed. At least one groove portion is formed by cutting out in a headrest pillar, without inclination in the radial direction. The fixing device has a knob portion, a resin spring portion formed continuously to the knob portion, and an engagement plate arranged in the knob portion, the resin spring portion is formed to extend on one side of the knob portion therefrom, and is provided with a space portion for expanding to surround the headrest pillar. The engagement plate is installed in the knob portion, and is formed in such a manner that part of the engagement plate is exposed in the space portion.

According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a bearing structure including: a resin bush having a flange formed to be brought into contact with a plate face around a bearing hole from one side, a locking edge formed to be locked with the plate face around the bearing hole from the other side, and a circular through-hole formed to bear the support shaft inserted therethrough, wherein, upon receiving a load applied to the support shaft, the entire resin bush is flexibly displaced so that an inner circumferential surface of the through-hole is aligned with a hole edge of the bearing hole and the support shaft is born by the hole edge of the bearing hole.

The receiving edge has a groove where the leading end of the engagement edge is inserted, the engagement edge has a stopper surface, which serves as a stopper part, on the outer surface toward the basal end side, and the groove has a stopper receiving surface, which serves as a stopper receiving part and catches the stopper surface, on one side internal surface toward the basal end side. As the leading end of the engagement edge is inserted into the groove of the receiving edge and the stopper surface is caught by the stopper receiving surface, the engagement edge of the upper cover and the receiving edge of the bottom cover are joined together without any separation.

In a wet-process gas treatment method of treating an acid gas by using at least two treating columns connected in series, a ratio of the concentration of an acid gas at an outlet to a concentration of the acid gas at an inlet of a first treating column is set higher than a ratio of the concentration of the acid gas at an outlet to the concentration of acid gas at an inlet of at least one of the other treating columns, thereby preventing deposits from forming in the interior of connecting pipes between the columns and in the interiors of the treating columns, to prevent the connecting pipes from being blocked.

A foldable and storable seat for a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle seat includes a seat cushion pivotally supported at a rear portion thereof to a vehicle floor by a pair of spaced apart base brackets, cooperating members for causing a forward portion of the seat cushion to be releasably supported to the vehicle floor, a seat back pivotally supported to the seat cushion, recliner devices for releasably locking the seat back relative to the seat cushion, the seat cushion and the seat back being foldable so as to be put together when the seat back is released from the seat cushion by the recliner devices, and a linkage mechanism mounted to the seat cushion, the linkage mechanism including a first linkage section for causing the recliner devices to be actuated synchronously with pivotal movement of the vehicle seat, and the first linkage section being coupled to one of the base brackets and the recliner devices.

The object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and method for forming a deposited film which can repeatedly form a large amount of functional deposited films with good reproducibility without degradation in the characteristics of films formed even when gas leakage occurs in a shut-off valve, and without reducing the yield as a result when gas leakage occurs in the shut-off valve, by immediately detecting and repairing it. The deposited film forming apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a chamber capable of maintaining an interior thereof under vacuum; a source gas supply piping for supplying a source gas into the chamber; an evacuation system piping for evacuating the interior of the chamber; a gas supply piping for use in opening to atmosphere, for supplying a gas for returning a pressure within the chamber to atmospheric pressure, wherein a plurality of shut-off valves are provided in series between a gas source of the gas for returning the pressure within the chamber to the atmospheric pressure and the chamber, and a pressure-gauge and/or evacuating means are provided between the plurality of shut-off valves.
