    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an optical scanning system that simultaneously forms a group of two scanning lines extending in a main scanning direction on a surface of a photoconductive member at a prescribed scan line interval in a sub scanning direction. An exposure intensity distribution changing device is provided to symmetrically change exposure intensity distribution of two scanning lines in the main scan direction. A group of two scanning lines formed next on the photoconductive member partially overlaps with the group previously formed with displacement of a prescribed feed pitch in the sub scanning direction so that a prescribed numbers of the two scanning lines neighboring to each other of the different groups are paired to form a prescribed number of combination scan lines. The exposure intensity distribution changing device substantially equalizes the sum of the exposure intensity of the pair of neighboring scan lines of the combination scan line at every section in the main scanning direction.

    摘要: A power transmission mechanism of a shaft and a hub, wherein a shaft tooth part comprises a ridge part formed of a crowning with varied tooth thickness, and a hub tooth part comprises a ridge part having tooth thickness formed in a specified linear shape and having an inner diameter varying from the end part thereof to a shaft shank side. A first step part swelling to the hub tooth part is formed in the bottom part of the shaft tooth part, and a second step part recessed in a direction opposite to the shaft tooth part is formed in the ridge part of the hub tooth part. The start point of the first step part and the start point of the second step part are set at positions offset by a specified distance from each other.

    摘要: The invention aims at provision of an optical scanner in which an optics required for equalizing an optical magnification in a scanning range is produced with high accuracy, so that intervals among a plurality of scanning lines on a to-be-scanned surface are even in the scanning range. The scanning optics includes a refraction surface and a reflection surface whose sub-scanning-direction curvature radii vary continuously. The reflection surface is disposed on the to-be-scanned surface side of the refraction surface. The curvature radius of the reflection surface varies symmetrically with respect to the optical axis, and the curvature radius of the refraction surface varies asymmetrically with respect to the optical axis.

    摘要: A multi-beam image forming apparatus includes: first and second semiconductor laser arrays each having n laser elements; a multi-beam generation unit that generates 2n laser beams by synthesizing laser beams generated by the first and second semiconductor laser arrays; a beam detection unit that generates synchronous detection signals to obtain synchronous scanning of the respective laser beams; and a control unit. The beam detection unit includes first and second beam detection units disposed substantially at a same position in a main scanning direction and adjacently disposed in a sub-scanning direction. The n laser beams of the first and second semiconductor laser arrays are detected by the first and second beam detection unit, respectively. The control unit controls image formation start positions of the 2n laser beams on the basis of the synchronous detection signals output from the first and the second beam detection units.
