A first slider guide member is substantially vertically disposed below the contact roller, and a second slider guide member is pivoted on a shaft spaced from the lower end of the first slider guide member, sliders are slidable along the slider guide members, carriers are connectable with and detachable from the sliders, and the carriers have bobbin holders rotatably mounted thereon. The bobbin holders move to a winding position, doffing position and stand-by position while the bobbin holders and carriers are transferred between the sliders of the slider guide members.

    摘要: A safety device of a spindle drive type winding apparatus wherein the rotational speed of a spindle on which a yarn package is formed is controlled in accordance with a peripheral speed of a yarn package formed on the spindle or tension in yarn to be wound to form a yarn package in such a manner that the rotational speed is gradually decreased during a normal winding operation. The device comprises:a member for detecting the driving rotational speed of the spindle;a minimum value holding member for holding the minimum value of the driving rotational speed of the spindle from the start of the normal winding operation to the time just before the measurement of the rotational speed by means of the detecting member; anda member for comparing the rotational speed detected by the detecting member with the minimum value held in the minimum value holding member and for emitting a stop signal to the winding apparatus when the rotational speed is larger than the minimum value by at least a predetermined allowance.

    摘要: An improved method and apparatus for automatically changing bobbins and winding yarn continuously in a winding or taking-up apparatus provided with a rotatable turret whereon a pair of bobbin holders are rotatably mounted. Each bobbin utilized for this apparatus is provided with a yarn catching groove formed on a peripheral portion thereof. When the bobbin exchanging operation is carried out, the turret is turned in a direction opposite to the rotational direction of fresh and full packaged bobbins held by the corresponding bobbin holders so that the yarn passed through a traverse guide of the apparatus is aligned with the yarn catching groove of the fresh bobbin whereby the yarn is engaged with the above-mentioned yarn catching groove.

When the contact roller is driven by an induction motor and also the contact roller is driven in pressing contact with the package by the induction motor, the number of rotations of the contact roller is given by the following equation: N=n1-(K.multidot.m (n0-n1)/T1), wherein the N indicates the number of rotations (r.p.m.) of the contact roller with which the contact roller is operated in pressing contact with the bobbin holder, the n0 indicates the number of rotations (r.p.m.) which is synchronized to the power frequency of the motor driving the contact roller, the n1 indicates the number of rotations (r.p.m.) of the motor with which only the contact roller is driven, the T1 indicates a load torque (kg cm) of the motor with which only the contact roller is driven, the m indicates the number of packages which are wound in contact with the contact roller, and the K is beween 0 and 1.5.
