摘要: In an engine system including an engine, and an exhaust gas recirculation device including a communicating pipe that communicates an exhaust pipe of the engine with an intake pipe, and a valve provided in the communicating pipe, and an electronic control unit, and its control method, the electronic control unit estimates the pressure in the intake pipe as an estimated intake pressure, and performs a jamming diagnosis to determine whether foreign matter is stuck in the valve, by comparing an intake pressure difference between a detected intake pressure and the estimated intake pressure with a threshold value, when a diagnosis condition including an opening change condition that the target opening becomes equal to or larger than a first predetermined opening and then becomes equal to or smaller than a second predetermined opening that is smaller than the first predetermined opening is satisfied.

摘要: An engine device includes an engine including an in-cylinder injection valve and a spark plug, an exhaust gas control device, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform a last fuel injection from the in-cylinder injection valve in an expansion stroke and to set a fuel injection amount for the last fuel injection in expansion stroke injection driving, based on a coolant start temperature, post-start time, and volumetric efficiency. The expansion stroke injection driving is a control that is performed by performing the ignition by the spark plug in synchronization with the fuel injection in the expansion stroke.

摘要: A vehicle including: an engine; an exhaust gas recirculation device including a communication pipe by which an exhaust pipe of the engine and an intake pipe of the engine communicating, and a valve that is provided in the communication pipe; and a control device configured to control the engine, to control the valve based on a target opening of the valve, to perform automatic stopping of the engine based on satisfaction of an automatic stopping condition, and to perform automatic starting of the engine based on satisfaction of an automatic starting condition. The control device is configured to prohibit automatic stopping of the engine when it is determined that foreign matter is caught in the valve through catching diagnosis which is diagnosis of whether foreign matter is caught in the valve.

The electronic control unit is configured to switch from the first fuel injection mode to a second fuel injection mode for using the port injector prior to an end of the start-up control when the number of times of combustion cycles of the internal combustion engine with the first fuel injection mode reaches a predetermined first target number of times.

摘要: A heat recovery structure includes a pipe portion, a heat exchanging portion and an actuator. The pipe portion is inclined such that a side face of the pipe portion faces a diagonally lower side, and is configured such that exhaust gas from an engine circulates through the pipe portion. The heat exchanging portion is configured to communicate with the pipe portion and to perform heat-exchange between a heat medium and the exhaust gas flowing into the heat exchanging portion from the pipe portion such that the exhaust gas thus subjected to the heat-exchange with the heat medium flows out to the pipe portion. The actuator is configured to operate a selector valve configured to switch between a state where the exhaust gas circulates through the pipe portion and a state where the exhaust gas circulates through the heat exchanging portion.

A deposit removal process where deposits adherent to the in-cylinder injection valve are removed by setting a pressure of fuel supplied to the in-cylinder injection valve to a predetermined pressure higher than a normal pressure and injecting fuel from the in-cylinder injection valve is performed during the performance of a forcible charging process for the electrical storage device, and the forcible charging process is continued until the pressure of fuel is returned to the normal pressure after the end of the deposit removal process.

When the vehicle is stopped and the removal of deposits is required, and the forced charging of the power storage device is not being performed, the controller controls the fuel supply device so that the supply fuel pressure is at a third fuel pressure higher than the first fuel pressure and lower than the second fuel pressure.
