    Abstract: An electronic control unit switches a switching circuit such that a switched reluctance motor has a first winding pattern, when, with respect to a boundary dividing a driving range of the switched reluctance motor into two ranges, a torque and a rotational speed of the switched reluctance motor that are determined according to an applied voltage are located in the first range on the low load side. The electronic control unit switches the switching circuit such that the switched reluctance motor has a second winding pattern, when the torque and the rotational speed of the switched reluctance motor are located in a second range different from the first range.

Further, in the power transmission device has a meshing portion in which a meshing tooth that is formed on an input-side rotation member and a meshing tooth that is formed on an output-side rotation member mesh with each other on a power transmission path between the motor and the wheel, the meshing tooth has a driving-side teeth surface that makes contact for transmission of power from the motor to the wheel and a non-driving-side teeth surface that makes contact for transmission of power from the wheel to the motor, and in the meshing tooth, a tooth root of the driving-side teeth surface has a higher breaking strength than a tooth root of the non-driving-side teeth surface.

    Abstract: A switched reluctance motor include: a stator; a case in which the stator is accommodated; a rotor disposed inward of the stator in the radial direction of the switched reluctance motor; and a holding member fixed to the case. The holding member is configured to hold the stator with the stator spaced apart from an inner peripheral surface of the case. The holding member includes a holding portion and a fixed portion. The holding portion is configured to hold the stator from the outside in the radial direction. The holding portion is spaced apart from the inner peripheral surface of the case. The fixed portion is fixed to the case.

    Abstract: Provided is a vehicle including a plurality of wheels, a steering device, and a direction indication system. The steering device is configured to steer the wheels at least either to such a first steering angle that the vehicle travels straight in a direction intersecting the front-rear direction or to such a second steering angle that the vehicle rotates around a vertical axis passing through a central portion of the vehicle body. The direction indication system is configured to, when the steering device steers the wheels to either the first steering angle or the second steering angle, indicate toward the outside of the vehicle body that the vehicle is going to travel straight in a direction intersecting the front-rear direction or that the vehicle is going to rotate around the vertical axis passing through the central portion of the vehicle body.
