Abstract: The present disclosure is applicable to the field of information technologies, and provides a route information displaying method and apparatus. The method includes: creating a three-dimensional coordinate system, and loading an electronic map in the XY plane of the three-dimensional coordinate system; acquiring, by using a satellite positioning system, a real-time location of a mobile terminal and a real-time speed, of the mobile terminal, corresponding to the real-time location; and drawing both a moving route and a speed curve of the mobile terminal in the three-dimensional coordinate system according to the acquired real-time location and real-time speed, where the real-time location of the mobile terminal is represented in the XY plane of the three-dimensional coordinate system, and the real-time speed of the mobile terminal is represented on the Z axis of the three-dimensional coordinate system.
