摘要: A method for positioning reference signal configuration comprises receiving, from a network node, one or more first positioning reference signals in a first PRS configuration; performing one or more first measurements on the first PRS to determine one or more first characteristics of the one or more first PRSs; sending, to the network node, a second PRS configuration determined based on the one or more first characteristics; receiving, from the network node, a third PRS configuration, wherein the third PRS configuration comprises one or more third PRSs having at least one different signal characteristic than the one or more first characteristics of the first PRS; and performing one or more second measurements on the one or more third PRSs. The method provides a dynamic configuration for PRS based on the feedback from the UE and a location node, beamforming configuration, or any requirements for physical layer efficiently.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for determining a position of a wireless device in a wireless communication network are provided. The method includes obtaining a first sequence of Time Difference of Arrivals (TDOAs) at the wireless device of reference signals, which are transmitted by and used for synchronization of a first pair of network nodes; and determining, based on the first sequence of TDOAs, a first relative distance. The method also includes obtaining a second sequence of TDOAs at the wireless device of reference signals, which are transmitted by and used for synchronization of a second pair of network nodes; and determining, based on the first sequence of TDOAs, a second relative distance. The method further includes determining the position of the wireless device based on the first and second relative distances. Corresponding computer programs and computer program carriers are also disclosed.

摘要: There is provided mechanisms for purpose-dependent determination of start of a receiver symbol processing window. A method is performed by a wireless transceiver unit. The method comprises receiving, from another wireless transceiver unit, a reference signal based on which the start of the receiver symbol processing window is to be determined. The reference signal is to be processed for a processing purpose selected from a set of at least two different processing purposes. The method comprises determining a synchronization time offset from measurements on the reference signal according to an estimation process that is a function of the processing purpose. The synchronization time offset defines placement of the start of the receiver symbol processing window. According to the estimation process, the start of the receiver symbol processing window is placed differently with respect to the at least two different processing purposes.

摘要: A method and network node for differential matched summed antenna positioning are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes summing sequential uplink data signals at each of a plurality of antennas of the network node to produce a plurality of antenna signal sums. The method also includes selecting one of the antenna signal sums to be used as a reference antenna signal sum. A channel impulse response is determined for each of a plurality of other antennas by cross correlating the reference antenna signal sum with the others of the plurality of antenna signal sums. The method further includes estimating a time difference of arrival from the channel impulse responses of the plurality of antennas, and estimating an error of the estimated time difference of arrival of each antenna. A position of a wireless device is determined using the estimated time differences of arrival.
