Abstract: A method performed in an entity for transmitting in a communications system. The method comprises assessing a channel to be available for transmission by establishing an on-going transmission to have a received signal strength such as to allow simultaneous transmission in view of a first clear channel assessment threshold; establishing type of transmission of the on-going transmission; and determining, based on the established type of transmission, whether to transmit or to defer transmitting. Abstract: A method performed by a communication device comprises identifying a long transmission time interval (TTI) transport block size from a set of long TTI transport block sizes used for transport block transmission within a long TTI. The method further comprises determining a short TTI transport block size, used for transport block transmission within a short TTI, by downscaling the long TTI transport block size based on a relation between a number of symbols in the short TTI and a number of symbols in the long TTI that is greater than the number of symbols in the short TTI.

Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a method is disclosed for use in a wireless device being affected by pre-emption. The method comprises receiving information from a network node and performing one or more operations based on the received information. The information indicates a portion of a buffer that is affected by pre-emption. Examples of operations that can be performed based on the received information include flushing the portion of the buffer affected by pre-emption or separately handling the portion of the buffer affected by pre-emption.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus for detecting when a data transmission has been preempted or punctured by detecting inconsistency in the modulation or other signal characteristic of a received signal. If an inconsistency is detected, measures can be taken to mitigate potential problems caused by the inconsistent data. In one example, the receiving device (30) may identify soft bits in a soft buffer that may have been corrupted and flush the corrupted parts from the soft buffer.

Abstract: In order to address problems arising due to conflicting transmissions of different services, each transport block transmitted to a receiver includes at least two code blocks and the decision by the receiver to flush and replace parts of the soft buffer and/or to add the soft bits to only some of the code blocks of a transport block is based on a combination of the multi-bit feedback transmitted by the receiver and a multi-bit indication in the DCI (Downlink Control Information) transmitted by the transmitter.

Abstract: A scheduling node transmits, to a radio node configured for sub-subframe operation, a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration message configuring the radio node for sub-subframe-based SPS. The SPS configuration message comprises an identifier of the radio node and indicates a pattern of sub-subframes in which a resource allocation for the radio node repeats. The radio node receives the SPS configuration message and configures the radio node for sub-subframe-based SPS according to the SPS configuration message.

Abstract: It is presented a method performed by a network node of a wireless communication network for scheduling a wireless device in uplink. An uplink signal structure is configured to be used by the wireless device and the network node, wherein the uplink signal structure defines transmission subframes divided into symbol periods. The network node applies a short Transmission Time Interval, sTTI, scheduling interval, wherein each sTTI is shorter in time than a subframe and each sTTI comprises at least one symbol period. The method comprises: transmitting a control information message to the wireless device for an sTTI scheduling interval, the control information message comprising uplink scheduling information assigned to the wireless device, the uplink scheduling information indicating a position and a length for at least one of a reference signal and data in the uplink sTTI.

Abstract: A method performed by a transmitting node for handling a channel access for transmitting data to a receiving node is provided. The transmitting node and the receiving node operate in a wireless communications network. The transmitting node obtains a defer list. The defer list comprises nodes causing Signal to Interference Ratio, SIR, below a threshold at the receiver node. The defer list is based on a first defer list received from and created by the receiving node. The transmitting node senses a wireless channel in the wireless communications network. When the transmitting node intends to transmit data to the receiving node, the transmitting node defers channel access to the sensed wireless channel for the data transmission when one or more conditions are fulfilled. The one or more conditions comprise at least that one or more nodes are sensed as communicating and are on the defer list.
