Abstract: A contactless connector is provided and includes an inductive coupling element, a first contact lead, a second contact lead, a base plate, and an outer ferrite element. The inductive coupling element includes a plurality of windings, and the first contact lead and the second contact lead are connected to the plurality of windings and carry electric currents in opposing directions. The base plate includes a lead receiving passageway receiving both the first contact lead and the second contact lead, and the outer ferrite element is magnetically coupled to the base plate and partially surrounds the inductive coupling element.
