摘要： Protease inhibitor which has strong inhibitory action against pepsin and other acid protease is produced by a microorganism of the genus Streptomyces. The protease inhibitor is recovered from the culture medium and purified and the purified protease inhibitor is used as an effective drug for the prevention and cure of hyperpepsia, hyperpepsinia and gastric and duodenal ulcers.
