摘要: An automated system and methods are provided for coordinating a transfer of a patient between patient support apparatuses. The system includes first and second patient support apparatuses having a patient support surface supported by an adjustable frame. A controller is provided and is configured to communicate with at least one of the first and second patient support apparatuses. The controller includes programmable instructions to coordinate automated movements of at least one of the patient support apparatuses in order to couple the support apparatuses at a preferential transfer position, engage or monitor at least one safety feature, and provide an indication that it is safe to transfer the patient between the first and second patient support apparatuses.

The electrodes include a first electrode and a second electrode, as well as an output device(s) that are configured to output a usability indication indicative of a usability of the set of electrodes. If the usability indication indicates that the electrodes should be replaced, the user can discard the set of electrodes and replace them with a new set of electrodes, thereby mitigating the risk of compromising patient care for a patient.

摘要: An accessory dock is described, the accessory dock for docking wireless accessories that are configured to be used with a medical device. The accessory dock has at least one docking receptacle configured to receive a wireless accessory. In some examples, the wireless accessory receives power from the medical device upon being positioned within a threshold distance of the medical device to charge a battery of the wireless accessory. In some examples, the wireless accessory pairs with the medical device upon being positioned within a threshold distance of the medical device. In some examples, a processor of the medical device causes performance of an accessory health check upon the wireless accessory being docked in the docking receptacle, the accessory health check for determining a readiness of the wireless accessory.
