Abstract: The subject technology receives a selection of a selectable graphical item to initiate generating augment reality content including facial synthesis, the selection being received by a third party application, the third party application being executed by a computing device separate from a first party application and a messaging server system. The subject technology captures image data by the client device. The subject technology generates, by the one or more hardware processors and based at least in part on frames of a source media content, sets of source pose parameters. The subject technology generates, based at least in part on sets of the source pose parameters, an output media content using an interface communicating with the messaging server system. The subject technology provides augmented reality content based at least in part on the output media content for display on the computing device.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for providing personalized videos. An example method includes storing one or more preprocessed videos. The one or more preprocessed videos may include at least one frame with at least a target face. The method may continue with receiving an image of a source face, for example, by receiving a user selection of a further image and segmenting the further image into portions including the source face and a background. The method may then proceed with modifying the one or more preprocessed videos to generate one or more personalized videos. The modification may include modifying the image of the source face to generate an image of a modified source face. The modified source face may adopt a facial expression of the target face. The modification may further include replacing the at least one target face with the image of the modified source face.

Responsive to receiving the request to access the collection of media items, the personalized preview system accesses user profile data associated with the user, wherein the user profile data includes an image.
