摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for monitoring upstream signals and for providing the total bandwidth to a base station for analysis of any disruptions. In an example, the present methods and systems include at least a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit is coupled to a cable input-output port. The first circuit is configured for providing upstream signals from broadband signals of the upstream feed. 摘要: Approaches provide for processing a communications signal, such as a wideband communications signal. For example, a communications signal can be received at an access device, such as a cable modem or a wireless transceiver/radio. The access device can include components operable to process the communications signal to enable access to, for example, video, data, voice, high-speed Internet services. At least some of the components include an echo cancellation component among other components to cancel interference (e.g., ACI, ALI). For example, the echo cancellation component can use trained filters and samples of the upstream signal, echoed samples of the transmitted signal, feedback signals of the echoed signal, etc., to estimate one or more types of interference. Thereafter, the estimated interference can be used to cancel interference at the access device.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for LNAs with high linearity and low noise for wideband receivers that receive high dynamic range signals. A multi-stage multipath LNA is disclosed in which outputs from various stages are amplified with variable gains and combined in parallel. A smart gain control unit evaluates the noise and non-linearity characteristics associated with each gain stage to configure the variable gains for the various stages to generate an overall LNA gain that minimizes the overall noise and/or non-linearity characteristics of the LNA while ensuring that the overall gain for the LNA satisfies the desired gain. The variable gains may be configured to change smoothly over the dynamic range of the input signal. Noise is minimized by reducing additional gain stages and by the smooth change in gain when switching between stages. High linearity performance is maintained by minimizing the number of gain stages combined.

摘要: A direct digital radio having a high-speed RF front end in communication with an antenna, and a radio subsystem that can be configured to form a programmable multi-standard transceiver system. The high-speed RF front including RF inputs configured to receive a plurality of radio frequencies (e.g., frequencies between 400 MHz to 7.2 GHz, millimeter wave frequency signals, etc.) and wideband low noise amplifiers provides amplified signals to RF data converters, analog interfaces, digital interfaces, component interfaces, etc. The programmable multi-standard transceiver is operable in frequencies compatible with multiple networks such as private LTE and 5G networks as well as other wireless IoT standards and WiFi in multi-standard network access equipment. The programmable multi-standard transceiver can greatly reduce complexity for the baseband processing, lower the cost of the overall transceiver system, reduce power consumption, and at the same time, benefit from improvements on the digital functions through integration.
