Abstract: An object is to provide a crosslinked organosilicone resin which has a crosslinked structure formed by reacting a silicone or hydrocarbon having an alkenyl group at both ends thereof with a hydrosilyl group-containing organosilicone resin, is soluble with a liquid oil at room temperature, and forms a film by volatilization of the oil, and to provide a method for preparing the same and cosmetics containing the crosslinked organosilicone resin. The present invention provides a crosslinked organosilicone resin represented by the following average composition formula (1): (R13SiO1/2)a1(R23SiO1/2)n2(R33SiO1/2)n3(R13-p(X1/2)pSiO1/2)a4(R12SiO2/2)b(R1SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d (1) wherein R1 is, independently of each other, a substituted or unsubstituted, monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms and having no aliphatic unsaturated bond, R2 is, independently of each other, a polyoxyalkylene-containing group, a polyglycerin-containing group, or a group selected from the groups defined for R1 and at least one of R2 in each of the R23SiO1/2 units is a polyoxyalkylene-containing group or a polyglycerin-containing group, R3 is, independently of each other, an organopolysiloxane-containing group or a group selected from the groups defined for R1 and at least one of R3 in each of the R33SiO1/2 units is an organopolysiloxane-containing s group, X is a divalent group represented by the following formula (2) or (3): wherein R4 is, independently of each other, a substituted or unsubstituted, monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms and having no aliphatic unsaturated bond, e is an integer of 0≤e≤500 and k is an integer of 0≤k≤5; —(CH2)2—CfH2f—(CH2)2— (3) wherein f is an integer of 0≤f≤20; optionally, a part of R2, R3 and X may be a hydroxyl group, a1, a2, a3, a4, b, c, and d satisfy the equations, 0

Abstract: A gel paste composition including (A) a crosslinking organopolysiloxane and (B) a liquid oil, the crosslinking organopolysiloxane (A) being obtained by reacting an organohydrogenpolysiloxane shown by the following general formula (I) with a polyoxyalkylene compound shown by the following general formula (II) in the presence of a catalyst for hydrosilylation reaction, the component (A) containing polyoxyethylene units in an amount of 20 wt % or more. As a result, the gel paste composition that contains a crosslinking organopolysiloxane having improved compatibility with ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and water, and thus exhibits excellent dispersibility when blended to a cosmetic thereby providing good feeling and cosmetic sustainability. Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of evaluating the hydrophobicity of a powder. According to the present invention, a powder is charged into a mixed solvent composed of a lipophilic solvent and a hydrophilic solvent, the voltage rate R of the mixed solvent is measured at predetermined time intervals while adding a lipophilic solvent to the mixed solvent charged with the powder, a parameter x correlating with the concentration of powder is defined for an arbitrary voltage rate R, a continuous function HP(x) of the ratio of a lipophilic solvent corresponding to x is defined, and HP(x) for required x is set as a representative value of a lipophilic solvent ratio distribution and used as an index of hydrophobicity.

Abstract: One of the purposes of the present invention is to provide an aqueous dispersion of silicone elastomer particles to provide a stable emulsion and the silicone elastomer particle, wherein a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether which has an alkyl group having a large number of carbon atoms is used as a surfactant. Further, another purpose is to provide a cosmetic comprising said aqueous dispersion or said silicone elastomer particles and giving a good feeling in the use. The present invention provides an aqueous dispersion comprising (A) silicone elastomer particles having a 90% volume cumulative diameter (D90) of 0.3 to 20 μm in an amount of 5 to 80 mass %, based on a total mass of the aqueous dispersion, (B) at least one polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an alkyl group having 18 carbon atoms in an amount of 0.01 to 15 mass %, based on a total mass of the aqueous dispersion, wherein a hydrophile-lipophile balance (HLB) of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether is 12.8 to 15.1, and (C) water in an amount of 19 to 94 mass %, based on a total mass of the aqueous dispersion. Further, the present invention provides a material comprising the aforesaid components (A) and (B), a method for preparing the material and a cosmetic comprising the aqueous dispersion or the material.
