A touch display system includes: a display driver integrated circuit (IC) configured to drive a display panel; a touch screen controller configured to drive a touch screen panel; a driving voltage generator configured to provide driving voltages to the display panel, the display driver IC, and the touch screen controller; and a ground modulation device configured to receive a driving signal, which is used to drive the touch screen panel and periodically swings between a first reference voltage level and a second reference voltage level, from the touch screen controller, configured to generate a modulated ground voltage, which periodically swings between the first reference voltage level and the second reference voltage level, based on the driving signal, and configured to provide the modulated ground voltage to the display panel, the display driver IC, and the touch screen controller
Abstract:
A touch sensor of multi-driving scheme includes a touch panel including input lines and output lines, the touch panel causes a change in mutual capacitance in response to touch. Processing circuitry generates transmission signals to the input lines as a result of an encoding operation on a first matrix having an inverse matrix, each of the transmission signals has a first polarity or a second polarity opposite in phase to the first polarity; outputs the transmission signals in an unbalanced period when the sum of phases of the transmission signals is greater than 0; receives receiving signals through the output lines; and decodes the receiving signals based on the first matrix, the receiving signals generated by the change in the mutual capacitance in response to the touch.

An electronic device includes a touch panel that includes a plurality of row touch lines and a plurality of column touch lines, a touch driver that controls the plurality of row touch lines and the plurality of column touch lines to obtain secondary biometrics including touch profile information, first indicator information, and second indicator information associated with a fingerprint of a user being in contact with the touch panel, in a fingerprint sensing mode of the electronic device, a fingerprint sensor that obtains fingerprint information about the fingerprint of the user, in the fingerprint sensing mode of the electronic device, an authentication module that performs a fingerprint matching operation and an anti-spoofing operation based on the fingerprint information and the secondary biometrics to output an authentication result, and an application processor that performs a security operation based on the authentication result.
