Abstract: A method of controlling carrier aggregation (CA) and an electronic device configured to perform the method are provided. The method of controlling CA of an electronic device includes connecting a call between the electronic device and a base station, monitoring an amount of data used for transmission/reception during the connected call, determining an estimated amount of time to use a function executed on the electronic device, and configuring CA based on the amount of data used and the estimated amount of time to use a function.
