Abstract: Provided is a method for managing heat generation in an electronic device. The method includes determining a state of the electronic device, applying a performance level for at least one element associated with heat generation, corresponding to the state, monitoring state information of the electronic device, and adjusting the performance level for the at least one element according to the state information. Various embodiments are also possible.
