The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services.There may be provided a method for receiving a downlink by a UE that uses narrowband communication and a UE for performing the same, the method comprising the steps of: setting one subcarrier, among narrowband frequency resources assigned to the UE, as a narrowband direct current (DC) subcarrier; receiving a signal regarding the narrowband frequency resources from an eNB; and decoding the received signal on the basis of the narrowband DC subcarrier that has been set.
Abstract:
A method of controlling power of a user equipment for device to device communication in a wireless communication system, and a user equipment thereof, are provided. The method includes receiving power control related information of the D2D communication from a Base Station (BS), determining transmission power of the UE based on maximum available power of the UE and the received power control related information of the D2D communication, and transmitting data according to the determined transmission power.

A discovery signal transmission/reception method and an apparatus for improving energy efficiency of the system are provided. The discovery signal transmission method of a base station in a mobile communication system according to the present disclosure includes acquiring a discovery signal configuration of a neighbor cell, transmitting the discovery signal configuration to a terminal, receiving a measurement report including a result of measurement on a discovery signal of the neighbor from the terminal, the measurement being performed based on the discovery signal configuration, and determining whether to make a handover decision for the terminal based on the measurement report. The discovery signal transmission/reception method of the present disclosure is advantageous in improving energy efficiency of a mobile communication system.

The present disclosure relates to a method and device for reporting channel state information. The method for a terminal according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: receiving feedback configuration information from a base station; measuring a channel state using a reference signal received from the base station; and reporting channel state information using two subsamplings at a reporting time which is determined on the basis of the feedback configuration information.

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for transmitting control information for device-to-device (D2D) communication. A method for communicating between terminals of a transmission terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining whether transmission data corresponds to final transmission data; generating a first channel sensing signal including information indicating that the transmission data corresponds to final transmission when the transmission data is final transmission data; and transmitting the transmission data and the first channel sensing signal. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a channel sensing signal, which is necessarily required for a D2D operation of a distributed resource allocation scheme, is used to transmit the control information so that control information can be exchanged between terminals without introducing an additional control channel and signal.

Methods and apparatuses are provided for indicating a discovery signal resource by a User Equipment (UE) performing device-to-device communication. The UE receives information relating to the device-to-device communication from a base station. A synchronization signal including discovery signal-related information, is transmitted from the UE to a nearby UE, based on the information relating to the device-to-device communication. A discovery is performed based on the discovery signal-related information.

Methods and apparatuses are provided in which at least one parameter associated with a sidelink transmission is received from a base station. It is identified whether an uplink transmission is scheduled in a transmission time interval (TTI) in which a sidelink transmission to a second terminal is scheduled. The sidelink transmission is transmitted to the second terminal in the TTI in case that no uplink transmission is scheduled in the TTI. The sidelink transmission is transmitted based on a smaller transmission power value from two transmission power values.
