Abstract: According to an embodiment, an electronic device may include: a processor; and a touch circuit configured to output, to the processor, information associated with a touch on at least one surface of the electronic device. The touch circuit may be configured to: generate first raw data including a first value associated with capacitance for each of multiple channels of the touch circuit; generate a first baseline on the basis of the first raw data; identify whether the first raw data satisfies a designated condition; and identify whether the first baseline is reset, on the basis of whether the raw data satisfies the designated condition.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, a touch sensor disposed in the display and including a plurality of lines and a plurality of nodes formed by the plurality of lines, a memory storing instructions, and a processor. The instructions, when being executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to obtain a plurality of node values from each of the plurality of nodes, change the touch sensitivity of the touch sensor from a first touch sensitivity to a second touch sensitivity lower than the first touch sensitivity based on identifying a pattern by the plurality of node values, identify whether to recognize contact on the touch sensor as a touch input through the plurality of line values obtained from each of the plurality of lines based on identifying changes of the pattern by the plurality of node values.

Abstract: Electronic devices including touch circuits and method of operating the electronic devices are provided. Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises a display panel including a touch sensor, and a processor, wherein the processor can be configured to: acquire a user input inputted in a designated area of the display panel through the touch sensor; identify a pattern corresponding to the form of the user input; perform a designated operation based on the user input when the pattern corresponds to a first designated condition; check the time during which the user input is maintained with respect to the designated area when the pattern corresponds to a second designated condition; determine the designated area as an ineffective input area on the basis of checking for whether the time corresponds to a designated time range; and ignore the user input inputted through the ineffective input area, or another input related to the user input. In addition to the various embodiments disclosed in the present invention, other various embodiments are possible.
