Abstract: A random access channel (RACH)-less conditional cell switch is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives and stores a candidate cell configuration including an execution condition of a conditional cell switch to the candidate cell. The UE selects the candidate cell as a target cell for the conditional cell switch on determination that the execution condition is met. The UE determines whether a valid timing advance (TA) and a valid uplink (UL) grant for initial UL transmission to the target cell is available. When a valid TA and a valid UL grant are available, UE transmits initial UL transmission to the target cell using the valid TA and the valid UL grant. When a valid TA is unavailable, the UE performs random access procedure to the target cell. When a valid UL grant is unavailable, the UE transmits a scheduling request to the target cell.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for signaling pulse shaping in a wireless communication system. A method of BS includes determining a spectral extension index (SEIndex) and a frequency domain spectral shaping type index (FDSSTypeIndex) for at least one transmission time interval (TTI) and transmitting, to a UE, the SEIndex and the FDSSTypeIndex. The method further includes receiving, from the UE, uplink (UL) data based on a spectral extension (SE) ratio associated with the SEIndex and frequency domain spectral shaping (FDSS) values. The FDSS values are associated with the FDSSTypeIndex.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes systems and methods for controlling temperature in an electronic device. An electronic device includes a number of heat-emitting components, a plurality of compartments, and a processor. The processor is configured to identify a temperature in one of the compartments of the electronic device, determine whether the identified temperature in the one compartment exceeds a threshold for the one compartment, and in response to determining that the identified temperature for the one compartment exceeds the threshold, modify, based on the identified temperature, operation of a component of the number of heat-emitting components that is located in the one compartment to reduce the temperature in the one compartment.

Abstract: An electronic device, a client device, and a method for split rendering video content are disclosed. The method includes receiving user data including viewpoint and motion data associated with a client device. The method also includes identifying a first portion of the video content corresponding to a field of view (FoV) of the client device based on the viewpoint. The method further includes identifying speed and direction of the client device based on the motion data. Additionally, the method includes identifying, based on the speed and the direction, a second portion of the video content extending from the first portion of the video content and expanding the FoV. The method also includes scaling the second portion of the video content using a scaling factor that is determined based on the speed. The method further includes transmitting the first and second portions of the video content and the scaling factor.
