Abstract: An electronic device includes a power line communication circuit configured to perform power line communication with an external device, the power line communication circuit including: a power line switch provided between a regulator output node and a POGO output node; and a pull-up resistance provided between the POGO output node and a power supply voltage; and a processor configured to control the power line communication circuit, wherein the processor is further configured to: based on receiving a start signal instructing an initiation of high-speed communication, turn off the power line switch to block an electrical coupling between the regulator output node and the POGO output node, and perform the high-speed communication with the external device by connecting coupling the POGO output node to the power supply voltage through the pull-up resistance or connecting coupling the POGO output node to a ground voltage, based on according to output data.

Abstract: A voltage converter includes a power switching unit and an indirect sensing circuit. The power switching unit includes a plurality of power switches and a capacitor. The indirect sensing circuit receives an input voltage, a first voltage at a first node of the capacitor, and a second voltage at a second node of the capacitor, and generates first and second sensing output voltages based on the input voltage and the first and second voltages. A voltage difference between the first and second voltages is equal to a fractional multiple of the input voltage.

Upon detecting the connection between the mobile device and an external power unit, the charging IC activates the direct charger and provides a constant charging current to the battery using the direct charger, and upon detecting the disconnection between the mobile device and an external power unit, the charging IC deactivates the direct charger, activates the switching charger, and maintains a battery voltage associated with the battery using the switching charger.
