Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method of preforming integrated mobile number portability (MNP) and remote SIM provisioning (RSP). The method includes: receiving, by a recipient BSS, a subscription request comprising an MNP request indicator from a user equipment; requesting, by the recipient BSS, the subscription request to a recipient Subscription Manager-Data Preparation (SM-DP) to initiate the RSP, creating, by the recipient SM-DP, a recipient MNO profile comprising a recipient MSISDN upon confirmation receipt of the Download Order by the recipient BSS, registering, by the recipient SM-DP, an MNP event in a Subscription Manager-discovery Server (SM-DS) to initiate the MNP, retrieving, by the UE, RSP event details from the SM-DS to execute profile download, and executing, by the UE, the MNP event and the RSP by transferring an eUICC functioning from a donor MNO profile to the recipient MNO profile at porting date and time.

Abstract: A method for operating a device in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a plurality of embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) profiles, each eSIM profile being associated with at least one quality of service (QoS) feature, performing a primary mapping between the plurality of eSIM profiles and applications available on the device based on QoS requirements of the applications, and performing transfer of data belonging to the applications using the mapped eSIM profiles corresponding to the primary mapping.

Abstract: A method for transferring an embedded Subscriber Identity Module (e-SIM) profile from a first communication device to a second communication device. The method includes: receiving, at a server from the first communication device, an e-SIM transfer request message including an e-SIM identifier (EID) corresponding to each of the first communication device and the second communication device. The received e-SIM transfer request message corresponds to a request for transferring the e-SIM profile from the first communication device to the second communication device. The method also includes: performing a mapping process to map the e-SIM profile associated with the EID of the first communication device with the EID of the second communication device based on the received e-SIM transfer request message; and transmitting, to the second communication device, the e-SIM profile that is mapped with the EID of the second communication device.

Abstract: A server, for managing an incoming call in an embedded Subscriber Identity Module (eSIM) network, is configured to receive a first MSISDN number of a first eSIM profile among a plurality of eSIM profiles in an electronic device from a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) to obtain an operating status associated with a first eSIM profile. The server is also configured to determine that the operating status associated with the first eSIM profile is inactive in response to receiving the first Mobile Station Integrated Services Digital Networks (MSISDN) number. The server is further configured to transmit a second MSISDN number associated with a second eSIM profile among the plurality of eSIM profiles whose operating status is active to the MNO in response to determining at the operating status associated with the eSIM profile is inactive.
