A method of controlling a user terminal is provided. The method includes displaying a graphic user interface (GUI) which includes items showing a plurality of class courses which are taught based on a lesson content, and items showing a plurality of activities or materials; selecting one of the displayed items corresponding to the plurality of activities or materials in accordance with a user's input; designating the item of the selected activity or material to one of the items corresponding to the plurality of class courses; and generating the lesson content by storing the class course and lesson plan configuration information corresponding to the activity or material designated to the class course.
Abstract:
A method for providing Graphical User Interface (GUI) for selecting a broadcast channel, and a broadcast receiving apparatus having the same are provided. The GUI for selecting a broadcast channel includes a keypad having a pointer to be moved by manipulation of a user on a remote control apparatus and keys selectable by the pointer, and then the user is able to input a preferred broadcast channel by using the keypad and the pointer. Accordingly, the user is able to input a preferred broadcast channel without using the number keys, so the number keys may be omitted in the remote control apparatus. As a result, miniaturization of the remote control apparatus is possible.

An electronic device including a display, a receiver to receive, from an input device, a first information about a movement of the input device and a second information indicating whether a predetermined button on the input device is pressed, and a controller to control the display to display a plurality of visual guide items representing a plurality of functions of the electronic device for guide a user how to move the input device to select a function among the plurality of functions, determine a movement direction of a pointing position while the predetermined button of the input device is pressed based on the first and the second information, detecting whether the predetermined button is released based on the second information and in response to the detecting that the predetermined button is released, executing a function among the plurality of functions based on the movement direction of the pointing position and displaying a visual guide item among the plurality of visual guide items corresponding to the executed function in a highlight state.

Disclosed are a main image processing apparatus, a sub image processing apparatus and a control method thereof. The control method of the sub image processing apparatus includes receiving a user's touch input through the sub image processing apparatus; determining which contents correspond to a touched area where the touch input occurs; sensing change in location of the touch input; and transmitting a control command for the contents to the main image processing apparatus in response to the sensed change in the location of the touch input. With this, it is more convenient for a user to control the main image processing apparatus through the sub image processing apparatus supporting the touch input.

A method for providing a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for changing a reproducing time point, and an imaging apparatus incorporating the same are provided. The GUI for changing a reproducing time point displays reduction images of specific time points within a time period including a specific time point selected by a pointer, and changes the reproducing time point to the time point represented by the reduction image selected from the displayed reduction images. Accordingly, a user is able to search for a desired time point without going through a plurality of manipulations to change the reproducing time point on the progress bar using the pointer.

A multimedia content searching apparatus includes: an image receiving unit that receives an image having additional information from an external device; an additional information reading unit that reads the additional information from the image received from the image receiving unit; a multimedia content searching unit that recommends a multimedia content to a user by searching for the multimedia content which is related to the additional information using the additional information read by the additional information reading unit; and an information comparing unit that compares the additional information read by the additional information reading unit with multimedia content information provided from a content provider, and the multimedia content searching unit searches for the multimedia content related to the additional information based on the result of the comparison by the information comparing unit.
