Abstract: A recombinant microorganism having the ability to produce glycerol 3-HP, or acrylic acid, in which glycerol is produced from dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP) via dihydroxyacetone (DHA) in a biosynthetic pathway, and a method of producing glycerol, 3-hydroxypropioninc acid (3-HP), or acrylic acid by using the recombinant microorganism.
