Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for controlling a mobile terminal and a mobile terminal auxiliary device. Information on at least one of the mobile terminal and the mobile terminal auxiliary device and security-related information on the at least one of the mobile terminal and the mobile terminal auxiliary device are stored. It is determined whether the mobile terminal and the mobile terminal auxiliary device exist within a predetermined available distance. If the mobile terminal and the mobile terminal auxiliary device exist within the predetermined available distance, it is determined whether the mobile terminal or the mobile terminal auxiliary device has been registered by using the stored information.
