Abstract: An electronic device includes a wireless communication module configured to transceive a wireless signal, a processor operatively connected to the wireless communication module, and a memory electrically connected to the processor and configured to store instructions executable by the processor, wherein, when the instructions are executed by the processor, the processor is configured to determine whether roaming is triggered by a roaming trigger while forming a plurality of links with and connected to an access point (AP), determine a state of the plurality of links by responding to the roaming trigger, and differentiate and perform roaming operations according to the state of the plurality of links. Abstract: An embodiment of the disclosure relates to a device and a method for performing communication based on multiple communication methods in an electronic device. The electronic device may include: a first communication circuit, a second communication circuit, at least one processor, comprising processing circuitry, and a memory configured to store instructions, which when executed by at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, cause the electronic device to: identify an operation channel for wireless LAN communication performed by the first communication circuit, identify an operation channel for UWB communication performed by the second communication circuit, and control the first communication circuit to deactivate, based on the performance of the UWB communication, a transmission operation in the wireless LAN communication using at least one antenna among multiple first antennas based on the UWB communication being activated and that the operation channels for the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication being different.
