    Abstract: A wireless communication method performed by an electronic device, includes: performing a search for another electronic device to which a peer-to-peer (P2P) connection is allowed; receiving connection setup information of a second electronic device from the second electronic device, based on the search; identifying whether the second electronic device supports a tunneled direct link setup (TDLS) connection through the P2P connection, based on the connection setup information; transmitting a TDLS connection request to the second electronic device through a group owner device of a P2P group to which the electronic device or the second electronic device belongs when the second electronic device supports the TDLS connection through the P2P connection; and performing communication with the second electronic device through the TDLS connection when the TDLS connection is established through the P2P connection with the second electronic device.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes: a communication module; a memory; and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication module and the memory, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: control the communication module to generate a direct communication group in which an external electronic device operates as a group owner and the electronic device operates as a group client through a Wi-Fi direct connection with the external electronic device, to perform wireless communication; control the communication module to transmit, to the external electronic device, a schedule change request message requesting to change an operation schedule of the direct communication group, based on a change in an operating state, related to wireless communication through the direct communication group, of at least one of the at least one processor and the communication module; receive, through the communication module from the external electronic device, a response message including operation schedule information configured based on the schedule change request message; and control the communication module to perform wireless communication according to the operation schedule information of the response message received from the external electronic device.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various example embodiments includes: at least one wireless communication module comprising wireless communication circuitry configured to support a first communication protocol and a second communication protocol, at least one processor operatively connected to the wireless communication module, and a memory electrically connected to the processor and configured to store instructions executable by the processor. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the processor may, using the wireless communication module, set a schedule for a first data link that uses a first frequency band as the second communication protocol with a first external electronic device, set a schedule for a second data link that uses a second frequency band as the second communication protocol with a second external electronic device, and change the second data link to a third data link that uses a third frequency band and perform communication with the second external electronic device, based on the third frequency band being available due to a termination of the first data link.
