Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes: a memory, and a processor electrically connected to the memory, wherein the memory stores a high dynamic range image and dynamic metadata including dynamic tone mapping information corresponding to a plurality of frames included in the high dynamic range image, and wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: control the electronic device to transmit a packet including data obtained by combining one frame among the plurality of frames and a part of the dynamic metadata corresponding to the one frame among the dynamic metadata to an external electronic device in response to an image request from the external electronic device.
