    Abstract: A display module includes a display panel and an input sensing unit. The display panel includes a base surface. The input sensing unit is directly disposed on the base surface. The input sensing unit includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and an insulation layer. The first electrode extends in a first direction. The first electrode includes a first opening area. The second electrode extends in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The second electrode is longer than the first electrode. The second electrode includes a second opening area of a size greater than a size of the first opening area. The insulation layer is configured to insulate the first electrode from the second electrode.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a display member including a plurality of display elements and a sensing member including a first sensing pattern disposed on the display member and a second sensing pattern disposed on the display member and capacitively coupled to the first sensing pattern. Each of the first and second sensing patterns includes a plurality of mesh lines to define a plurality of openings. Each of the first and second sensing patterns includes a unit mesh pattern including a central opening and a plurality of peripheral openings surrounding the central opening. A plurality of cutting lines, each of which opens at least two adjacent openings of the plurality of peripheral openings to each other, are defined in the unit mesh pattern. The cutting lines are arranged in a direction surrounding the central opening.

    Abstract: An electronic device, includes: a sensor layer detecting a touch input and an input-device input; and a sensor control circuit providing the sensor layer with a signal and receiving a detection signal from the sensor layer, wherein the sensor layer includes: a first electrode extending along a first direction; a second electrode extending along the first direction; a first cross electrode extending along a second direction intersecting the first direction; and a second cross electrode extending along the second direction, wherein the sensor control circuit detects the touch input based on a variation in mutual capacitance between the first electrode and the first cross electrode, and the sensor control circuit detects the input-device input based on a variation in capacitance of at least one selected from the first electrode, the second electrode, the first cross electrode, and the second cross electrode.
