Abstract: An method of attaching a polarizing plate to a liquid crystal display panel includes inspecting an alignment axis of the liquid crystal display panel using an optical axis inspector; controlling a position of the liquid crystal display panel with respect to a reference alignment axis, according to a result of the inspecting the alignment axis of the liquid crystal display panel; providing the polarizing plate to the liquid crystal display panel at the controlled position thereof; and attaching the polarizing plate to the liquid crystal panel at the controlled position thereof.

The second end portion of the rollable display panel may include a transmissive region which external light may pass through. An operation method of the display device includes determining an operation mode, rolling the rollable display panel in a first rotation direction so that the transmissive region is not exposed outside in a first display mode, rolling the rollable display panel in a second rotation direction so that the transmissive region is exposed outside in a second display mode, and displaying an image in a display region exposed outside.
