Abstract: A backlight unit and a display device are provided. The display device comprises: a display panel; and a backlight unit providing light to the display panel, wherein the backlight unit includes: a light emitting unit emitting light, a holder coupled with the light emitting unit and made of a metal material having rigidity, and a light guide plate coupled with the holder and guiding light emitted from the light emitting unit, and the light emitting unit and the light guide plate are integrated with each other by the holder.
