Abstract: A display device includes a lower substrate including an active area and a peripheral area, a driving circuit electrically connected to a pixel, an upper substrate provided with a notch recessed in a first direction, and a flexible circuit board. The driving circuit and the flexible circuit board overlap the notch. The upper substrate includes an upper edge including a notch area and a straight area extending from the notch area. The notch area includes a first area, a second area facing the first area in a second direction crossing the first direction, and a third area disposed between the first area and the second area and extending in the second direction. An end portion of each of the first and second areas adjacent to the third area has a predetermined curvature, and an opposite end portion of each of the first and second areas has a predetermined curvature.
