    Abstract: A display device includes scan lines disposed in a first direction; data lines disposed in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction; and unit pixel regions adjacent to the scan lines and the data lines, each unit pixel region including sub-pixels. A portion of an opening region of at least one of the sub-pixels overlaps a unit pixel region adjacent to a unit pixel region corresponding to the at least one of the sub-pixels, and a side of the opening region of the at least one of the sub-pixels extends in a third direction inclined with respect to each of the first direction and the second direction.

The second display area includes a transmission area as an area in the second display area not including the light block layer. Each of the patterns include a main part having a substantially rectangular shape with substantially rounded corners and line parts substantially curved away from the main part.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting diode display is provided including: a substrate including a display area and a non-display area positioned at a circumference of the display area; a thin film transistor formed on the substrate; a first electrode formed on the thin film transistor and electrically connected to the thin film transistor; a pixel definition layer formed on the first electrode and defining a pixel area; and an emission layer formed on the first electrode and contacting the first electrode in the pixel area, wherein the display area is divided into a first region, and a second region including a remainder of the display area except for the first region, and a cross-sectional area ratio of the pixel definition layer that a cross-section of the pixel definition layer occupies for a unit pixel is different in the first region and the second region.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a display panel in which a first area including an electronic module, a display area, a line area and a transmission area, and a second area adjacent to the first area are defined, where the display panel includes a base layer, a light blocking layer disposed on the base layer, a plurality of insulating layers disposed on the base layer, a first pixel disposed in the first area, and a second pixel disposed in the second area, and an input sensor disposed on the display panel, where the input sensor includes sensing insulating layers. The first area has a higher light transmittance than the second area, the light blocking layer overlaps the display area and the line area, and the light blocking layer does not overlap the transmission area.
