    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel displaying an image based on output image data, a voltage curve controller generating a converted peak luminance, a converted full white luminance, a converted peak grayscale, and a converted full white grayscale from a reference peak luminance and a reference full white luminance based on a gain mode and a gain value, and generating converted voltage curves including a first converted voltage curve from a first reference voltage curve based on the converted peak grayscale and the converted full white grayscale, and a driving voltage controller generating a driving voltage from the converted voltage curves based on a load and a maximum grayscale value of input image data. A voltage of the first converted voltage curve with respect to a peak grayscale is equal to a voltage of the first reference voltage curve with respect to the converted peak grayscale.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel which is driven in a mode selected from among a plurality of modes including different luminance values, a voltage generator which generates a driving voltage, a resistor connected to an output terminal, from which the driving voltage is output, a current sensing unit connected in parallel to the resistor, where the current sensing unit measures a voltage value across both ends of the resistor and calculates a driving current value using a resistance value of the resistor and a measured voltage value, and a maximum current calculating unit which calculates a maximum measured current value corresponding a the luminance value of a selected mode and outputs a selection signal corresponding to the maximum measured current value, and the current sensing unit sets a maximum measured voltage value corresponding to the maximum measured current value in response to the selection signal.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting diode (“OLED”) display device, which operates in a variable frame mode, includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a power management circuit which supplies a power supply voltage to the plurality of pixels, and a controller which determines a panel load, a first representative gray level and a second representative gray level by analyzing input image data, determines an initial level of the power supply voltage based on the panel load and the first representative gray level, and determines a step level of the power supply voltage based on the panel load and the second representative gray level. The power management circuit generates the power supply voltage having the initial level during an active period, and gradually increases a voltage level of the power supply voltage from the initial level based on the step level during a variable blank period.

The net power control setter may determine a first scale factor for adjusting a grayscale value of (N+1)-th frame data based on a load of N-th frame data and a net power control reference value. N is an integer equal to or greater than two. The data clamper may determine a second scale factor for adjusting a grayscale value of the N-th frame data based on a load of (N−1)-th frame data and the N-th frame data. A data signal may be generated using the first scale factor and/or the second scale factor. The data line may include a conductive material. The data driver may convert the data signal into a data voltage and may output the data voltage to the data line.
