    Abstract: A display device includes a first electrode, a buffer layer disposed on the first electrode, a first transistor including a first active layer disposed on the buffer layer and a first gate electrode disposed on a part of the first active layer, a second electrode disposed on the buffer layer and electrically connected to the first electrode, a first gate insulating layer disposed between the first active layer and the first gate electrode, an area of a top surface of the first gate insulating layer may be larger than an area of a bottom surface of the first gate electrode in a plan view, and the first gate insulating layer protrudes to an outside of the first gate electrode, and a second gate insulating layer disposed between the buffer layer and the second electrode, the second gate insulating layer and the first gate insulating layer include a same material.
