    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a light emitting element layer on the substrate and including light emitting elements in a display area, and an encapsulation layer including a first inorganic encapsulation layer on the light emitting element layer, an organic encapsulation layer on the first inorganic encapsulation layer, and a second inorganic encapsulation layer on the organic encapsulation layer, where the first inorganic encapsulation layer or the second inorganic encapsulation layer includes a first inorganic layer, a second inorganic layer on the first inorganic layer and a third inorganic layer on the second inorganic layer, a thickness of each of the first and third inorganic layers is less than a thickness of the second inorganic layer and is about 50 Å or less, and a ratio of the thickness of the first inorganic layer to the thickness of the second inorganic layer is about 0.03 or less.
