Abstract: Provided is a display apparatus including a display panel including a display area, a first non-display area surrounding the display area, and a second non-display area surrounding the first non-display area. The display panel includes an upper substrate overlapping the display area, the first non-display area, and the second non-display area. The display panel includes a lower substrate positioned below the upper substrate and overlapping the display area and the first non-display area. The display panel includes a light shielding member positioned below the upper substrate and overlapping the second non-display area. An inner surface of the light shielding member faces a side surface of the lower substrate.
