Abstract: A display device includes: a display module comprising a first non-folding area, a second non-folding area, and a folding area between the first non-folding area and the second non-folding area; a first plate under the display module at the first non-folding area; and a second plate under the display module at the second non-folding area and spaced apart from the first plate, at least one of the first or second plates comprising: a first support layer; a second support layer facing the first support layer; and an encapsulation layer between the first and second support layers along an edge of the first and second support layers and encapsulating a separation space formed between the first and second support layers in a corresponding non-folding area of the first and second non-folding areas.

Abstract: A backlight unit includes a light guide plate including a first incident surface; a light source module including a first sub-light source module overlapping the first incident surface of the light guide plate in a first direction, where the first sub-light source module provides light to the first incident surface; and a distance adjusting member including a first sub-distance adjusting member overlapping the first incident surface of the light guide plate in the first direction and disposed at a first side of the first sub-light source module and a second sub-distance adjusting member disposed at a second side of the first sub-light source module, which is opposite to the first side of the first sub-light source module. The first sub-distance adjusting member and the second sub-distance adjusting member may move the light guide plate in the first direction.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display module including a first region exposed to an outside in first and second modes and a second region extending from the first region, where the second region is partially opposite to the first region in the first mode or is partially exposed in the second mode, the second region includes a curved region in the first mode and a flat region extending from the curved region and opposite to the first region, a supporting member disposed below the display module, a case which contains the display module and the supporting member, where the first and second modes are determined based on a sliding motion of the case, and a wireless charging coil which is contained in the case and shielded by the supporting member in the first mode, and does not overlap the supporting member in the second mode.
