Abstract: A light emitting device includes a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, and an interlayer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode and including a stack of emission layers. The stack of emission layers includes two or more emission layers, a quantum well layer, a hole transport host, and an electron transport host. The quantum well layer includes a hole transport compound, and an absolute value of highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy of the hole transport compound is greater than an absolute value of HOMO energy of the hole transport host.
