Abstract: An organic light-emitting device includes a condensed cyclic compound represented by Formula 1, where at least one of X4 to X11 is C(Rx), and Rx is a group represented by Formula 2: The condensed cyclic compound represented by Formula 1 has a planar conformation because of the single bond linking the 8 and 8′ positions of the spirobifluorene moiety. Accordingly, the condensed cyclic compound may provide the organic light-emitting device with suitable hole mobility and thermal stability.
