    Abstract: A display device may include a substrate. A first light emitting element is disposed on the substrate. A second light emitting element is disposed on the substrate and is positioned adjacent to the first light emitting element. A first encapsulation layer is disposed on the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element. A light path control layer is disposed on the first encapsulation layer. The light path control layer includes a first pattern overlapping the first light emitting element and having a first refractive index and a second pattern overlapping the second light emitting element and having a second refractive index that is greater than the first refractive index.

    Abstract: A display device includes a pixel, a first control pad, a second control pad, and a first dummy pad. The pixel may emit light with luminance corresponding to a data signal. Supply of the data signal to the pixel depends on a first control signal and a second control signal. The first control pad is connected to a first control line for supplying the first control signal. The second control pad is connected to a second control line for supplying the second control signal. The first dummy pad is positioned between the first control pad and the second control pad and may receive a first dummy signal. A voltage level of the first dummy signal is in a range from a voltage level of the first control signal to a voltage level of the second control signal.

    Abstract: A wiring-disconnection detecting circuit includes a low-power voltage supply, a monitoring wiring, and a wiring-disconnection determiner. The low-power voltage supply supplies a low-power voltage to a low-power voltage wiring that extends along a periphery of a display panel in a normal operating mode of the display panel and supplies a test voltage to the low-power voltage wiring in a wiring-disconnection detecting mode of the display panel. The monitoring wiring includes a first end connected to one point of the low-power voltage wiring and a second end at which a feedback voltage corresponding to the test voltage is output in the wiring-disconnection detecting mode. The wiring-disconnection determiner receives the feedback voltage from the second end, measures an RC delay of the feedback voltage, and determines that the low-power voltage wiring is disconnected when the RC delay is larger than a predetermined reference value.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a first transistor that controls an amount of current received from a first power supply voltage line connected via a second node to an organic light emitting diode in response to a voltage of a first node, a second transistor connected between a data line and the second node and that includes a first gate electrode connected to a first scan line, a light emitting line connected to a gate electrode of at least one light emitting transistor located in a current path between the first power supply voltage line and the organic light emitting diode, and a seventh transistor connected between one of at least one second gate electrode of the second transistor and the light emitting line. Accordingly, a threshold voltage of a switching transistor included in each of the plurality of pixels may be negatively shifted.
