Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate including a display area at which an image is displayed with light, a non-display area which is adjacent to the display area, and a groove in the substrate, in the non-display area thereof; a light emitting element which generates and emits the light, disposed on the substrate in the display area thereof; and a common voltage transmitting line through which a common voltage is transmitted to the display area, disposed on the substrate in the non-display area thereof. The substrate further includes in each of the display area and non-display area thereof: a first insulating film, and a second insulating film disposed on the first insulating film. The groove extends into the second insulating film in a direction toward the first insulating film.
