Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a substrate, a semiconductor layer arranged on the substrate and including a plurality of protrusions protruding in a direction perpendicular to the substrate, a gate insulating layer arranged on the semiconductor layer, a first gate layer arranged on the gate insulating layer and including a first edge arranged on at least one protrusion of the plurality of protrusions, a first interlayer-insulating layer arranged on the first gate layer, and a second gate layer arranged on the first interlayer-insulating layer, overlapping the first gate layer when viewed in the direction perpendicular to the substrate, and upwardly exposing at least a portion of the first edge when viewed in the direction perpendicular to the substrate.
