Abstract: A display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present inventive concept includes: pixels; scan lines extending in a row direction and connected to the pixels; a data lines extending in a column direction and connected to the pixels; a receiving lines extending in the column direction and connected to the pixels; and a compensation circuit portion that generates first sensing data by receiving a current flowing to the pixels through the receiving lines, and generates a compensation value that compensates a characteristic of a driving transistor included in each of the pixels by multiplying the first sensing data by a calibration factor that corresponds to a position of each of the pixels, wherein the calibration factor includes a line calibration factors that correspond to the receiving lines.

Abstract: A touch sensing device includes: a touch panel on which a plurality of touch sensor electrodes are formed; a touch driver for supplying a touch driving signal to the touch sensor electrodes and receiving a touch detection signal generated by the touch driving signal; a touch controller for storing a history indicating that respective touch sensor electrodes are touched in the memory by using the touch detection signal; and a memory configured to communicate with the touch controller, wherein the touch controller controls the touch driver to read the history from the memory, determines electrodes for which a number of touch events is greater than a threshold number of touch events by using the history, and supply the touch driving signal to the determined electrodes.

Abstract: A display device includes a data line, a pixel electrically connected to the data line, a data driver for outputting a data voltage, and a transmitter electrically connected between an output terminal of the data driver and the data line. The transmitter may transmit an instance of the data voltage to the data line in a first period. The transmitter may amplify a second instance of the data voltage to generate a reference voltage and then transmit the reference voltage to the data line in a second period different from the first period. The pixel includes a light emitting element for emitting light in response to the first instance of the data voltage. A voltage level of the reference voltage may be higher than a voltage level of the data voltage.

Abstract: A method of compensating for degradation of a display device includes sensing a first sensing current flowing through a sensing line connected to a pixel, which includes a programming period for writing a data voltage of a predetermined color to a storage capacitor of the pixel, sensing a sensing voltage of the sensing line, which includes a period for charging a line capacitor connected to the sensing line, estimating a voltage of an anode electrode of an organic light emitting diode using a second sensing current estimated from the first sensing current and the sensing voltage, and determining a degradation compensation value using the voltage of the anode electrode.

Abstract: A display device and an optical compensation method for the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the method includes displaying a test image on the display panel, wherein the display panel comprises first, second, and third areas. The method also includes photographing the first and second areas together to generate first photographed data, photographing the second and third areas together to generate second photographed data, and extracting luminance data from each of the first and second photographed data. The method further includes respectively applying different weights to the luminance data of the second area extracted from each of the first and second photographed data to generate compensated luminance data, and generating a compensation parameter for each pixel based at least in part on the compensated luminance data.
