    Abstract: A display device is disclosed that includes a substrate, a pixel electrode, a sacrificial layer, a pixel defining layer, a conductive layer, a light emitting material, and a common electrode. The pixel electrode is arranged on the substrate. The sacrificial layer is arranged on the pixel electrode so as to be adjacent to an outer boundary of the pixel electrode when viewed in a plan view. The pixel defining layer is arranged on the substrate, coming into direct contact with an entire top surface of the sacrificial layer, and defining a pixel opening exposing a part of the pixel electrode. The conductive layer covers a side surface of the pixel defining layer defining the pixel opening. The light emitting material is arranged on the pixel electrode within the pixel opening. The common electrode includes a first common electrode covering a top surface of the light emitting material in the pixel opening, and a second common electrode covering a top surface of the pixel defining layer.
